Since the boots that fit my Atziluth costume sported 5 inch heels and I did not want to wear the alternate thigh-highs over vinyl pants in the Californian heat, I decided to scramble and make a second costume for Anime Expo. A lot simpler, Rosiel wears this with his hair half pulled up in Volume 13.

Of course, this being a manga picture with no artbook equivalent, the colors were up to me. I decided to stick with white for the shirt, black for the rest and chose silver for the buckles since silver would look better with the white hair. As for the nails, after a long internal debate, I chose to translate the gray shading of the manga as red, which gave the costume a touch of color.

Luckily, this costume was not nearly as uncomfortable as the other costume I wore to AX, the Atziluth formal uniform, and I survived a bit better, although the hastily tied on wings were not only painful, but also very unstable on my back, which was a lot easier to bear wearing shoes with lower heels... I had to be shorter than Uriel after all!

But it was all worth it, hand-sewn white vinyl and all, because of the huge group of cosplayer that gathered at the Hyatt for our Angel Sanctuary cast. All in all, although we never managed to all be in the same picture, we gathered 16 characters from the show, and were such a big group that Kevin Lilliard had to take a number of pictures (on which I always closed my eyes) to get us all in!
