This one I can blame on Diechan, who had made an Adam Kadamon costume for Katsucon 2003 and lured me into bringing Rosiel for "Family photos" featuring the son and his "mopa" (Adam Kadamon being neither male nor female, we came up with this "gender neutral" name for it). The complete family photo did not happen until Anime Expo 2003, though.
The costume was another impressive show of last minute panic, as I was sewing in the room Saturday morning to try and be done in time. Sadly, I had ordered the vinyl online and it was horrible quality, so the plastic part detached itself from the fabric backing towards the end of the day, ending up in lovely bubbly spots here and there. I won't even mention how all the straps stayed in place... let's just say heat can do marvellous things...
As a bit of trivia... I punched the exact number of holes in all the belts..
