Karmin : You know, Moses, it's scary to die.
But I didn't understand why death is so frightening.

Moses : The sun will come out soon. Let's go.

Karmin : Perhaps I was afraid I would die without doing anything. No, I'm afraid of dying without anyone remembering that I ever lived.
Moses, you'll remember me, won't you?

I utterly fell in love with Blood+ a few months back, and while I shook my head at the writing and the plot holes through the series, I kept on watching because I realised I fell in love with the characters. I loved the Schiff: Moses in particular struck a cord, a genetically engineered weapon, stubbornly holding on to hope and to the belief in his own humanity while people died around him. Moreover, since I enjoyed the film noir feel of the With Hunter Robin shoots I had previously done, I thought a vampire desperately seeking immortality to help his "family" would make for a good choice.

Once more this was a last minute costume, and the scythe required so much sanding it almost became a community project... especially once a random congoer sat on it and broke it (while it was tucked away between a friend of mine and the wall, it took quite a bit to effort to land right on it). That lead to tag-team repair efforts in the room to have it in one piece for Lionel's photoshoot. Needless to say I was not happy, but it showed me that while people have no respect for the property of others, my friends are simply wonderful. And their painting skills aren't bad either.

Lu as Karmin, myself as Moses.
